The village is located in the El-Koura region in north Lebanon, 14 km from Tripoli, about 80 km from Beirut, 10 km from the seashore. Its altitude is 275m above the sea. The natural landscape is olives, grapes, almonds,....
The mountains, covered with snow most of the year, are surrounding the region and contribute to the very picturesque landscape.

The villages in the proximity of Bterram are: Bdebba, Aaba, Bechmezzin, Beitroumin, Bsarma, Dhour-al-Hawa, Fih. You can get to bterram through three different ways:
> Tripoli - Daher El Ain - Aaba then Bterram
> Beirut- Junieh - Jubeil - Beitrun - Shekka - Kafar Hazir - Bechmezzin then Bterram
> Qalamun - Balamand - Qalhat - Fiaa then Bterram
