Dr. Salem received many outstanding honors. He is the recipient of Ellis Island Medal of Honor for "exceptional humanitarian efforts, and outstanding contributions to America".
Dr. Philip Salem is Clinical Professor of Medicine University of Texas Medical School and a leading figure in cancer research. He holds a position as Director of Cancer Research at St Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas. Moreover, he has his own private clinic "Salem Oncology Center".
